We went to 1919 for their prix fixe Valentine's Dinner and it was exceptional. All the courses were perfectly paired with Billecart Salmon champagne. Service during the two-hour affair was exceptional. Overall, it was a most enjoyable experience.

Disappointed. We went on February 13th. We were told they were doing a prix fixe menu for "Valentines Day". I never like prix fixe, as I have dietary restrictions, so I specifically asked the head waiter if I could order from the regular menu. He said NO. Ok, so we continued on with prix fixe. I told the waiter the items/courses I could not eat. He said the chef would do something else. We didn't love any item from any of the courses. Some of them were ok, some weren't. Halfway thru our meal, a table was sat next to us. They proceeded to order just pasta from the main menu! The only course I was looking forward to was the steak. I came out barely warm and not cooked to the right temperature. My husband ordered a cocktail and myself an iced tea. Once we drank them, we were never offered another drink and tbe empty glasses sat there for 2 hours. We were drinking still water. The head waiter doesn't ask, walks over and pours sparkling in our half glass of water. They never brought us fresh still water! We spent over 3 hours and $550 and left hungry. AVOID.

The best dining experience in Puerto Rico. From being greeted by name at the door, through the service at every step and the level of execution of the food, this was perfection.

The service was great but the quality of the food was not good. The appetizers where amazing and from there it went down the hill. For the price you expect exceptional food experience, and it was just fine.

Definitely one of the best meals we’ve ever had! Such a delicious experience. The taste of each course we chose was perfection. The service is top notch - Wesley and Gabriel were wonderful and I wish I could remember the woman’s name tho served us also. All 3 were very attentive and helpful especially with our food and wine selections. We will be back! Nice job, 1919, keep up the great experience.
