This is a hidden gem! Food is outstanding and the service is great, too. We asked the waiter for recommendations and ordered everything he suggested. Can’t wait to return with friends!

The food was great and unique! Good service too! We hope to come back. It’s a bit hidden behind a srip mall but good spot!

We were welcomed as the 1st guests (11:30 am) on Mother's day. While we had water right away, it took about 20 mins before a waiter came by & we asked for additional drinks considering they're not listed on the menu. The waiter told us there are no drinks, only ones from the bar, but complimentary Mimosas were available. Odd to not have drinks for a restaurant (even coffee) except the bar? Several minutes later, we were ready to order and wanted the sushi rolls but this same waiter told us no sushi was available because "they have to keep it cold." We proceed to order crispy corn & samosas (2) for apps, then veggie butter masala, mushroom mattar masala, tandoori chicken wings, lahori malai murg. The rice is separate but we had 2 orders among 4 people which was largely sufficient. Food was excellent but service could be a little better with improved communication skills with their wait staff to customers.

The food here is the best ever. The service, the ambiance, ample parking. Just so good from every aspect. They even have a full bar for those who enjoy cocktails with their meal. Just give them a try if you haven't.

This was our first visit. 1947 Eatery & Lounge is now one of our favorite restaurants in Indiana. Fantastic food, great service and exceptional value.

Had the lamb masala and the tandoori wings. Enjoyed both. Loved the mango lassi! Service was impeccable. Went on Valentine’s Day and they had it decorated especially for the day. Great experience! We’ll be back.

Exceptional customer service! Minor issue with order, but the staff owned it, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was exceptional. Lighting was a bit intense. Recommend mood lighting instead to along with the atmosphere. Overall, great food and wonderful customer service! Thank you.
