34 is Chef Emeril Lagasse’s first restaurant dedicated to the cuisine of his Portuguese heritage. He was inspired by his late mother, Hilda, who influenced his interest in cooking when he was a child growing up in Fall River, MA. The 245-seat restaurant is adorned in shades of green – Emeril’s signature color – wood accents and ornate Portuguese tiles. A painting of a rooster, a national Portuguese symbol of good luck, greets guests at the entrance. Once inside, a jamon bar with countertop service and tile-clad DJ booth are focal points of the space. The restaurant celebrates not only the food and design of Portugal but also the sounds, with music from local and touring DJs.

We had a wonderful experience dining here! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent—attentive and friendly throughout. One standout was the Nordés gin & tonic, which had a unique and delightful flavor. The only slight drawbacks were the price of the bread ($14) and the coffee ($12), which felt a bit steep. However, these were minor points in an otherwise fantastic meal. Overall, this restaurant is a great find, and I’d highly recommend it. Enjoy!

We really loved our experience. The food was great and the service impeccable. We were told while leaving that a DJ arrives around 10p to entertain the patrons. I can't wait to visit again.

It’s new and will need some time to iron out the kinks. Service was solid and overall the food was good and interesting. Portions are large and small. Piri piri chicken, salad, and bread service were the best. The expensive ham is not a good value. Drink and wine list is interesting and good. The Flan was excellent. Get it!!! Coffee service was very average and the pour over presentation was silly. Just bring me a cup of good coffee. Overall we enjoyed it but now we have been there and done that.

Nice appetizers except for the pasteurized and stringy crabmeat. Very tasty paella but no crusty socarrat on the bottom. Terrific wine list and very moderate prices. Deserts were a 10.

The food was served lukewarm. Octopus had very little flavor. Service was slow. We won’t go by ack or recommend

Sat at the bar and had drinks and ham pyramids. Very nice bar drinks, and the ham was fabulous. We then went to our table. The police is huge with lots to look at. The ambience is very nice. Service was exquisite. The menu you had many choices to please any pallet. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The wine list was loaded with fun wines from the Iberian Peninsula. The sommelier had a pretty good grasp on what she was selling.

This is a really beautiful restaurant. Sophisticated, comfortable… just what you expect from a world class restaurateur. Food was exceptional and service was spot on. Lovely experience. Will return.

The service was very nice. The drinks were delicious and all of the food items were very good. Very delicious. will definitely go back again to experience more of the menu.
