   We went to 36 on the Quay for our wedding anniversary. We received a small glass of complimentary champagne on arrival and some delicious canapés. We had the tasting menu with the wine flight. The food was outstanding and the waitress who spoke about the food and the wines that accompanied it was extremely knowledgeable. The only criticism that we have is that the website needs to be updated regarding the cost of the wine flight as we were given a cost of £58 per person on booking but the actual cost was £65 per person.

   Excellent food - clear, precise tastes, wonderful presentation and fabulous extras between courses. At first we thought the pricing was expensive until we experienced the extra surprises offered… great for a special night out/ treat.

   This was such a wonderful experience and I very much plan on coming again. I couldn’t fault the whole evening.

   This was the taster menu for 4. The food was excellent and nobody left a scrap. We also had the accompanying wine and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Lovely location and the staff were excellent as well

   We had an amazing dining experience with eight fantastic courses and wine flight. Carolina our waitress informed us in detail each course and matching wine. We were the only customers as it was a Tuesday evening, so to us it was private dining! We most definitely will be back!!

   Last went 5 years ago, quality of food and service still as good as ever Friendly, quiet and relaxed atmosphere with plenty of surprise and excitement from the menu and the between course treats! Will definitely be back again!

   Great taster menu (Halibut course was Devine) great service. The cost is what you would expect from any restaurants at this level. Loved it all apart from desert on the taster menu the caramel flavour was bitter and it just seemed a like it was trying to be a little more clever than flavoursome. I’m sure this is just a preference thing or maybe our undiscerning palate. Well worth a visit.

   The lady serving us was very kind and attentive. We were well cared for. But the restaurant was almost empty. The food wasn’t Michelin quality…it seemed like a restaurant that has changed hands? Odd combinations of foods…crab with a lentil curry…buckwheat on top of a fish sauce…jelly mold puddings. Really well intentioned but not of a quality you would expect from this priced tasting menu. And a disclaimer to sign if you take leftovers home. It made me wonder if something has happened at this restaurant?

    Very nice restaurant, to which we will return (again as a 2), but... as a minor niggle... 3 hours for 3 courses is rather long, and whilst we welcomed the slow-pace, and the chance to chat, other tables seemed to be rather quiet... perhaps having less to talk about, so... perhaps courses could come out a teeny bit quicker?
