Our award winning Jola Eat Global Restaurant Group opened a third location in 2021. Since then, it has become a downtown hotspot with a trendy approach to the modern fine dining experience. Located in Cleveland's Historic Warehouse District in the heart of Downtown, Acqua Di Luca has an innovative Italian menu with remarkably fresh seafood, unique pasta dishes, extraordinary steaks and much more.

We are excited to announce some significant changes within our restaurant family.
Acqua di Luca located at 500 W. St. Clair Avenue will be renamed Acqua di Dea.

These changes reflect our commitment to offering fresh and elevated dining. Acqua Di Dea will continue operations and ownership by Lola Jacaj.

Unfortunately, they did not see our reservation when we arrived and the hostess seemed very annoyed. She didn’t take us to the table. She just pointed. It was also the waiter’s first official day and he had not learned any of the specials or the desserts. So he just to out the book and read to us. Food was tasty though and the atmosphere is very nice.

We've been to Acqua di Dea (formerly di Luca) twice before this -- at the same time of year over each of the past two years. We had outstanding experiences on previous visits, but this one was just... okay. Our server was not efficient and he wasn't particularly friendly either. When we wanted a wine recommendation, he showed little familiarity with the menu and didn't bother to ask for guidance from anyone onsite who might have known more about the bottles we were torn between. The risotto, which I'd had before, now has less king crab at the same price. And the bread, which again used to be remarkable, has changed and is now... mediocre. It was telling that when we walked in on the Saturday of this Holiday week, they were less than 50% full. Both prior visits were bustling. What was once a staple in our Anniversary weekend plans is now a thing of the past for us, and truthfully, I'm quite sad to see it fade. We expect more when paying a premium for a dining experience, so we're back on the hunt for something more special for our next visit to Cleveland.

The food was flavorless and lacked depth. The filet had absolutely no flavor, just a chunk of meat (though cooked properly). The sides were sub par and the lobster gnocchi was one of the only redeeming dishes. The bread was even old and stale. We also waited 15-20 minutes to see a server after being seated. Although she was pretty attentive after that. I loved Luca’s in the flats and thought this was the same owner but it really was a disappointment.

Once a favorite, I do not think we will be returning any time soon. Menu has changed a bit and the prices have increased quite a bit. Our meal, while good, was not great. Not good enough to justify the prices (and we really don't mind spending big money on great food)

Great dinner. Service was great and attentive. Food was really good — one salmon entree was a little overcooked but the other entrees were so amazing that they totally made up for that miss. Appetizers and desserts were great too. We’ll be back.

We had the best time celebrating my Birthday!! Food and drinks were amazing!!! We closed the restaurant!! 10/10!!
