TĪNG, named after the Chinese word for ‘living room’, is the collective name for the restaurant and lounge on level 35 of Shangri-La The Shard, London.

TĪNG Restaurant's delicious afternoon tea is the perfect way for guests to indulge while enjoying views of London that stretch for miles. Freshly-made sandwiches and baked scones are served alongside delicate themed treats.

Een geweldige ervaring, heerlijk genieten van de High Tea in een ontspannen sfeer met aardig personeel en een super mooi uitzicht over Londen.

Amazing festive afternoon tea experience, quality was superb and hosts were very friendly and attentive, they made our 10th anniversary celebration more remarkable. Was pricy have to admit, but totally worth it. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic setting. We had a table by the window with amazing view of the river. Excellent service and all staff so friendly. Very special tea. Delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Couldn’t finish the cakes so our lovely waitress boxed them up for us. We were there for a 3.45 slot so watched day turn to night and all the London lights come on while we enjoyed our tea. A wonderful way to celebrate the festive season.

Would have been a full 5 stars but no hand towels in the bathroom. Christmas afternoon tea and service were excellent

It was an ecstatic and enjoyable experience. The view was incredible too. Syed had served us and he was very polite and patient.

General good experience but the food is overrated - for almost £100 per person I would have expected a lot more from the festive tea than what we got, which essentially the same we could have gotten in any other place. On the plus side, the service and the ambiance were really good and the view of course is outstanding. Nevertheless this is still a restaurant and at least as far the afternoon tea is concerned there’s definitely a lot to improve to justify the price being charged.
