Albert's Standish is a stunning restaurant and bar which also has a private dining room and 2 private event spaces. The restaurant space can accommodate dining for 200 guests and a fabulous covered and heated outside dining terrace perfect for alfresco dining.

The venue has ample car parking and provides a picturesque environment for dining. The menu includes traditional British favourites like home-made Lancashire Cheese and Onion Pie as well as cuisine inspired by the family’s travels around the world.

The restaurant is open Tuesday - Sunday for lunch and dinner, Saturdays and Sundays are also open for breakfast.

The spaces accommodate anything between 20 and 250 guests. We offer a wide range of menus specially created by our chefs and inspired by the seasons using only the finest of ingredients. We offer a full event planning service and every event is tailor made for you. We can arrange all aspects for your event and provide all the finishing touches to make your event perfect.

    We are regular visitors. Staff as always were friendly and good but food was a let down. Side portion of fries was cold and needed to be changed and chicken curry was tough and had gristle. Left half of it. . No Morretti and ran out of Guinness ( national shortage for no issues there) . Sadly was our worst visit - Christmas and a birthday celebration

As mentioned in our reply to your review on TripAdvisor, we are saddened to hear that the food disappointed you on your visit and apologise sincerely for any upset caused. We really do pride ourselves on our food and service and so it's a great shame that we let you down. I am aware that we replaced the fries but unfortunately we weren't aware of the complaint regarding the chicken, had we known we would have gladly changed it for you. Never the less your feedback will be passed on to our kitchen team and used to avoid future occurrence, same regarding the draft beer issue. We're really sorry for any upset caused and do hope you will give us another go in the future as I am sure your next visit will be much improved. Kind Regards, Alberts

    Service was amazing, from the moment we sat down. Lovely ambience. I ordered a steak and it was cooked to perfection.

    Good atmosphere on Christmas eve, food was good but felt let down there was not any option to pay cash. Would have to think twice about coming in future for this reason

    Hi Matthew, thank you for leaving us a review after your visit to us on Christmas Eve, it's great to hear that you enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I am however sorry that our card only policy didn't meet your expectations. As a very busy venue, we felt it much safer for our staff to go to card only and we do feel much safer having done so. We understand some do still like to use cash as a form of payment and so we apologise to yourself and anyone else that our policy doesn't suit.     Lovely Christmas Eve meal. Server Emma was lovely and efficient. Was very busy but good and drinks arrived in timely fashion and was all nice.

    Great meal with the family which included a 4 & 2 yr old. Fantastic table located next to the live entertainment. The food was delicious & the service by Jake impeccable.
