Welcome to Alibi Rooftop Lounge, an upscale dining and cocktail experience in Downtown Tempe. Located on the rooftop of the Canopy Hotel on University Drive, our relaxed rooftop lounge is the perfect place to enjoy great small bites or share-ables, a variation of classic cocktails and fresh new libations, and spectacular views of the Arizona skyline. We went to the Alibi on a Tuesday night. It was pretty obvious we weren’t dealing with the “A” team. Even though we had a reservation, none on the staff would make eye contact when we arrived. There was no signage to let us know if we needed to wait to be seated or just grab a table. After several minutes of uncomfortable standing waiting to be acknowledged we went and sat at a table on the deck. After another 15 minutes of being ignored, we went and sat at the bar. Finally the bartender asked if we wanted anything. We told him we had a reservation and he turned us over to a server. Since it was taco Tuesday, we tried the tacos. I ordered the fish tacos and was completely disappointed. The fish had been shredded and broken up with some sort of seasoning. Seriously, it might have been tuna fish. All in all, the food was horrible and the service was nonexistent. We will not be returning to this location.

The Food menu was too small and limiteds More sandwiches! The waitress was very efficient and friendly. We were going the the Gamage and she provided us with very good information. Want thank the Alibi for the Anniversity cocktail.

Overall, meh. First the parking situation wasn't very clear. We parked in the parking garage next to the hotel, we didn't see the valet parking. The restaurant itself was very small, I had made reservations, but our table was occupied by someone who was late for their reservation. We were able to sit outside, though. The menu is rather small, so check it out before you go. Drinks were tasty. The burger was way over seasoned bummer because it was pretty good. Fries are great. It is starting to get warm, so I'm sure that made a difference. I'm sure if you are there for the entertainment that night, it would be a different experience.

There was no actual reservation at this location, we simply got lucky a table was available. Once we were seated it took 20 minutes before anyone working came to our table to give us water. Anytime we needed anything we would have to flag someone down as no one was coming by regularly to check in and refill water or see if we wanted additional drinks. The food and drinks was overpriced for the quality we received. We will not be returning.

This is mostly for the pool service but amazing cocktails! The pool is heated and open 24 hours! Will be back!

Good experience. Fun mid day / evening stop before going out. Gina the bartender was on top of things. Shes got her mixology down and the staff is friendly. Pop up and in.
