Alo is an intimate contemporary French restaurant located atop a heritage building in downtown Toronto. Our cuisine is internationally inspired and celebrates the finest in seasonal ingredients paired with a genuine sense of welcome, served as a blind tasting menu by Chef Patrick Kriss.

The Bar at Alo is adjacent to our main dining room and offer à la carte options as well as a shortened seasonal tasting menu.

Alo is outfitted with a private dining room which can welcome parties up to 14 guests.

    Our Kitchen Counter features bar-style seating and faces our open kitchen for an engaging dining experience. The Kitchen Counter offers a blind multi-course tasting menu, including luxurious menu items and special courses from our Chefs. Please note that we are unable to accommodate vegan/vegetarian tasting menus, dairy allergies, seafood/shellfish allergies, or aversions to raw meat/seafood. Please reach out to info@alorestaurant.com at your earliest convenience before booking if your party has any dietary restrictions. The kitchen counter tasting menu is offered at $285 per guest and does not include beverages, gratuity or tax. Cancellations made less than 72 hours in advance will be charged the full price of the tasting menu per guest.

    Join us in our dining room for a new tasting menu that features the best ingredients we can source. Our menu is internationally inspired and prepared using classic French technique. Please note that we are unable to accommodate vegan/vegetarian tasting menus, dairy/egg allergies, seafood allergies or aversion to raw meat/seafood. If there are any dietary concerns within your party, please reach out to info@alorestaurant.com at your earliest convenience before booking a reservation. The tasting menu is offered at $225 per guest and does not include beverages, service charge and tax.     Alo's private dining room, equipped with its own bar and kitchen, offers a six-course tasting-menu for up to 14 guests. This unique dining experience begins with a cocktail reception featuring a glass of sparkling wine and a trio of canapés. The pricing for this experience is $295 per guest exclusive of beverages, HST & 20% service charge. Wine pairings are available for an additional $125 per guest. Our private dining room is also available to be booked for lunches.                       Truly memorable dining experience. Dishes presented so beautifully and the taste/texture combination is exquisite. Staff so attentive. The box of mini desserts at end of the meal was so special.

                      We celebrated our anniversary here and had an incredible time. Every single ingredient is sourced and prepared with a lot of thought behind it. Extremely impressive dynamic flavours throughout. I think this might genuinely be the best fine dining tasting menu I have had. Thanks to everyone for accommodating and making our anniversary special. Also thanks to our waiter Michael and Christopher for the small wine journey. It’s so hard to pick a favourite dish because everything was so good and flavourful. We can’t wait to come back and try the other experiences that Alo has to offer! See you soon, thank you so much.

                      We came in somewhat skeptical after feeling underwhelmed with Alobar and Alouette but Alo impressed on all fronts. Alo had incredibly friendly and effective serving staff and noise was kept to a comfortable conversational volume. The food was incredible and service was timed impeccably so you never felt that you were waiting nor rushed. There were zero misses with the plates and at least half of them will go down as all time favourites for myself. The seafood dishes in particular (of which there were many) were well balanced with exceptionally high quality ingredients. 10/10 I plan on going again in the future.
