Alobar Yorkville is tucked along a pathway in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood. It puts its foot forward as a cocktail bar, but it is a full-fledged Michelin starred à la carte restaurant, offering choice seafood with the finest accoutrements, fish and chops off of the charcoal grill, and world-class wines, all served with genuine hospitality. Excellent service..food and decor! I was a little concerned about a prepaid 4 course menu with tip included on New Years Eve. We enjoyed our evening si much! The hostess changed our table at our request, the service was impeccable and the food was excellent!!! 10 out of 10!!!I highly recommend!!! Thank You Alo for a beautiful experience. Btw it was our Anniversary as well so we were doubly pleased with our evening!!

I probably will never go back. It was good enough, having foie gras 2x in the meal was a bit strange and too heavy. The meal was fine, music was a bit loud, drinks were great. Definitely didn’t stand out.

An absolutely delectable menu was created for the New Year's Eve 4-course menu. The wine pairings were also fantastic, and the staff took the experience to the next level. Thoroughly enjoyed dining at Alobar Yorkville, and I can't wait to go back! Favourite tastings from the night include: - Jamón, Grilled Cheese, Manchego, Caviar - Enderle & Moll 'PUR' Müller Thurgau, Baden, Germany - Tournedos Rossini, Foie Gras, Creamed Spinach - Olivares Monstrell Dulce 2020, Jumilla, Spain

Incredible food and very good service to accompany it. This was a special meal and the food did not disappoint. Larger portion sizes than expected for fine dining.

Pricey but I’d go back for the bread alone. Everything was excellent, my wife had the pasta, I the steak and both cooked perfectly.

My brothers and I decided to treat our parents to an anniversary dinner, and the restaurant did an amazing job arranging everything. From start to finish, my parents loved the experience. The food was exceptional, and we’re incredibly grateful to the staff for making the evening so special

Start to finish - this was a dining masterpiece. Thoughtfully curated custom cocktails as we didn’t like anything on the list, beautifully paced courses, the seafood was phenomenal. Definitely get the hamachi and sea bream and get the brioche to soak up all the sauce.
