   This was a wonderful experience in a beautiful beautiful building. We were up stairs in an exquisite small room. The place was full and a small wait stay, but the food came quickly and was delicious. The servers were delightful and the food was great.

   We stayed in Mittenwald for a month and Alpenrose is by far the best German specialty restaurant in Mittenwald. We've been there several times and each time the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and all of this without spending too much.
