Alter House Restaurant and Bar is a family owned Farm-to-Table Restaurant and Event Venue dedicated to seasonal, sustainable cuisine. It is our culinary mission to source the finest ingredients from regional farmers, artisan purveyors and local farms whenever possible.     We love the Alter House! We started coming here a couple years ago, and it is now a highlight of our ski trips up to Elk. The food is delicious, and last night they had live music which was great. It was a wonderful dinner and we will be back the next time we are in Clarks Summit.

    Great family dinner! The Mrs. Claus-mopolitan was delicious. Hummus fries and French onion soup were great starters to our dinner.

    Always a wonderful experience. Food atmosphere, ambience and service are always spectacular. Highly recommend for a fun girls night out or romantic date night . Drinks are always fun, different and delicious!
