Amada Radnor is the Main Line location of the Andalusian tapas bar & restaurant where Chef Jose Garces embraces the rich traditions of Spanish gastronomy while incorporating modern cooking techniques in a gorgeous rustic-chic setting.

SPECIALTIES:
Spanish Octopus, Garlic Shrimp, Tortilla Española, Paella Valenciana, Whole Roasted Suckling Pig (Call to order 72 hours in advance, excluding Sundays), Seasonal Sangrías, Wine, Cocktails & our Gin Tonic Cart.

PRIVATE PARTIES & EVENTS: Amada hosts groups of all sizes. Festive settings, service and menus are perfect for intimate dinners with friends, special occasions and holidays, corporate meetings and staff parties. Events can be booked throughout the restaurant and in our private dining rooms 7-days a week. Went for Xmas Eve prefixe… everything was great except for the paella which was not cooked in the pan and just warmed up. Disappointing. Have enjoyed Amada several times, but that paella was a bummer.

Amada was such an experience! We loved all the tapas and larger steak entrees. Service was amazing and the space itself is beautiful. Would definitely recommend to others and we will be back!

Our first visit. There were 4 of us to celebrate 2 birthdays. They asked about the birthdays when we sat and nothing ever came or was mentioned again. We received 2 dinner menus and 2 brunch menus. When the server came to take a drink order she took the 2 brunch menus but never returned with dinner ones. Drinks were good and we ordered a bunch of tapas plates to try. Server suggestions were all of the most expensive items on the menu. Tapas overall were very good. Ham croquetas and bacon wrapped dates were ok. Garlic shrimp was excellent though crostini were stale that came with it. We tried almost every tapas and they were very good. Only exceptions were 1 of the 4 scallops was raw inside and 1 of 4 beef and potato skewer was raw, and they forgot about the pork belly until we asked multiple times. Service was attentive at the beginning but once we ordered was non existent. After dinner we sited a long time to get dessert menus and intended to order but were left a long while. When server returned we said we were originally interested in dessert but are passing since it took a long time for her to take our order. At that point, she walked away and brought a check. That was it. We will return for the food as it was overall really good; however, the service was below average and we would make sure we didn’t have the same server. For the prices, service should match the food and it fell way short.

For the price & value, I’d say the food is average. Probably the best offerings were what they didn’t need to cook - charcuterie & cheeses. Spent quite a lot of money dining - purchased 3 bottles of wine - our waitress unfortunately didn’t know how to open the bottles. Instead she made up an excuse about hurting her thumb etc & asked another staff member to open. This is her fault mind you…I fully blame her manager. If you’re going to sell a fairly extensive list of wines…enable your staff with the tools to be successful!! Don’t just set them up for failure. I had to show her how to open the bottle and what do you know….her thumb was magically healed.
