The atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming and the dinner we had was absolutely divine. We loved the manuscript menu of the day, something unusual but delightful. As a starter, I loved the poached skate salad with chicory and capers. Very tasteful. As a main, I choose a Guinea Fowl supreme with kale and turnips. Delicious and comforting for the winter season. For the dessert, I took the rice pudding with quince. I loved it although it is a “tour de force” to finish a meal with such a dessert. I must admit that the matching of both ingredients is really superb. The wine list is very interesting and I must say the prices, also for the menu, are really correct, specially in London were the prices tend to become very expensive.
The waitress and the manager were very nice and relaxed, although the restaurant was very busy. We loved the place very much because it is very characterful and different from the general offer.
