Angel Oak is an intimately lit restaurant with a private, romantic feel. Their menu is varied and has plenty of choices for everyone’s taste. We started with a bottle of champagne and prawn cocktails. Fresh and sweet. We requested the aged New York and the coffee rubbed filet, medium. Both were spectacular!! What made this dinner even more pleasurable was our server, Joe. He is fantastic. We never had to ask for anything, he was so attentive. We also had the pleasure of being introduced to Chef Seitour. He was so gracious taking the time for us to Thank him. We are dining with them again this evening.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We were quickly seated and had immediate service. The server explained the dishes nicely. We split the Caesar salad. It was soaked in dressing with soggy tomatos. The seabass (maybe frozen), was inedible. The pasta dish was OK. Mgt. was apologetic and replaced the dish.

Excellent last minutes of the sunset, excellent service, and excellent food. Everything was top notch! Thank you for allowing dogs outside,I think my Peanut was well behaved under my husbands chair. Thank you for a lovely dinner with my two favorites!

All staff were great except reception. She wasn’t dressed appropriately, she didn’t read reservation notes, sat us in a lousy table, appeared rushed for no reason. Kaz our server was amazing as were other supervisors. Food was very good but I probably would skip unless I did not want to leave resort. Menu limited.
