Let Chef Chris Padill, who learned from Ferran Adrià while working at El Bulli in Barcelona, prepare an authentic Spanish Paella for two - each dish we serve is made to order, a la minute, just for you! Dine at one of our two outdoor patios and enjoy the tranquil beauty of our private meadow, surrounded by willow trees, purple lilacs, and pink and white hydrangeas. Or sip one of our real espresso martinis at our outdoor bar. Come inside our barn dining room, where it is cozy and cool and the walls are lined with a special book collection of Ann Raychel's (the owner's mentor from New York City). If you are craving a burger or ready to try our Cazuela (Spanish seafood chowder) or a Croque Monsieur with a crisp glass of Kiki and Juan organic wine - let us transport you while you dine with us at your leisure. Drink & dine at our full bar. Select our vegan wrap; a cortadito; tiramisu. Our specials change daily with flavors from Southern France and Northern Spain.

We cater events at your location as well as hosting events at our own location. Weddings, showers, anniversaries. We can accommodate 100 - 150 people. With short notice we can accommodate larger parties up to 20 people in our Barn Dining Room, or outside on our Front Patio. Private dining and celebrations may be booked in advance for larger parties. Our Back Patio is also available for smaller gatherings for drinks and tapas, and full dinners. We had an exceptional dining experience at Ann book bistro this evening. The food was outstanding as it was the service. The ambience is very charming. It is fine dining on the mid coast of Maine, difficult to find. We will be back.

Guest chefs for what? Went here and the food was ill prepared at best similarly to the front end. Ambiance was interesting the book nook idea is cool but staff and chefs leave much to be desired.

Ann's has a very unique atmosphere for this area. Intimate and sheik. They give you complimentary pita and guacamole, and their salads are excellent. I had their chicken marsala and it was very tender but maybe a touch too much rosemary. The sides were very good. Jennifer had the tomato soup as her entree (which she regularly orders) along with the warm burrata salad (again both excellent). Raye was an excellent server!

Ann's Book Bistro has redesigned the interior, since our last visit, which has resulted in transitioning to a swank and a more comfortable but not formal space. As usual, service was excellent, to the credit of Chauncy and Linda, and the food very good and well presented. We will be back soon.

This is a wonderful place to dine. The atmosphere is eclectic and welcoming, the service is great and the food is innovative and delicious .

We had such a great time at Ann’s. The service was attentive, the food was fabulous! It is now on our list of favorite Date Night restaurants when we visit Damariscotta. We will be back!❤️
