Food was lovely though not much time between courses being served. Restaurant was cold which doesn’t make for pleasant experience. Staff were lovely very attentive and knowledgeable about menu.

Lovely lunchtime experience. Good value market menu. Food was tasty and well presented. It was a very cold day and I felt the restaurant could have been warmer. It didn’t detract from overall experience though.

Greeted warmly when we first arrived, first waitress really attentive then she switched areas. Another waitress appeared who did not interact, looked bored, hurriedly cleared our plates after we had our final bite and asked if we wanted dessert, I said could we leave it 5 mins but she never came back despite walking past us 15-20 times over a 30 minute period. Kitchen staff walked through restaurant carrying full black bags of waste we assume - not great when we’re still dining. We would have spent a lot more money on more drinks, desserts, coffees but as we had no service and the waitress was completely disinterested- we left after paying the bill only and leaving no tip - staff let you down on this occasion.

As usual a lovely time had at Ardnamurchan. Have been here numerous times and always a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work.

Staff were excellent. Cullen skink was lovely, however the lamb shank was a bit tough and unfortunately not worth £28. The cremeaux was nice but a very small portion. The cabernet sauvignon was excellent. I was expecting much more but unfortunately not on this occasion.

Both my husband and I had a wonderful meal . The haggis starter dish was so tasty and quite filling. Additionally, the Cullen Skink soup was out of this world...thick with fish. The fish and chips was fresh and flaky. The Venison was prepared to perfection...a thick rich sauce with tender chucks of meat. It was the most enjoyable meal in Glasgow. The wait staff was friendly very accommodating. A must for anyone who wants to experience traditional Scottish food at its best.

In my opinion, it's one of the best restaurants of its kind in Glasgow. The value for money and choice on the Market Menu is excellent. I had the traditional haggis, neeps, and tatties to start, and my friend had the vegetarian version. Both were very good indeed, and generously portioned. One slight downside was a slightly chewy parsnip shaving. My friend had the charred hispi cabbage for main -- it looked a little sad. I had the venison stew for main - it was really flavourful, and a generous portion, with lovely mash. It was also let down a bit by the chewy parsnip shavings, and could have maybe done with a tiny bit of green veg (or carrots) to liven up the plate. Four and a half starts out of 5; 8.5 out of 10. Will definitely go again.
