My best friend and I had an awesome experience. Im not sure we’ve been back to Athos since the new management but everything was the same if not better. I had the grilled octopus which was a huge tentacle of deliciousness and the salmon scallopini and ended with the loukomathes traditional. We started with two cocktails with our appetizers and went with a bottle of the Dark Matter. My friend had the fried calamari and moussaka ending with the chocolate mouse. And two double espressos. It’s been a rough year so it felt nice to go out like we used to and have a yuppie meal. The meal was exceptional and the service was the same thanks to our server Hannah as well as the other staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and it was just what we needed to pull us out of our slump. I felt like I was back in Greece for two hours!

Important thing is we made a reservation for the dining room but still had to wait a half hour when we got there to sit in the bar room. After ignoring us for an hour or so based on how busy they were, staff eventually tried to overcompensate with apologies and a free dessert. When the bill came, however, we were charged for an extra side of sauce we never requested. And by this point I just wanted to leave and never come back.

We waited to even receive menus and a very long time before our order for drinks or anything was taken. The food was good minus the attempts at serving pasta dishes. Many of the menu items were extremely overpriced.

Our server was nice but obviously very busy. We waited 30 minutes for a cocktail and soda. We had finished our main course by the time we finally got the drinks. We would have ordered more drinks had we had the time. When I made the review it said an hour and 30 minutes for a table of 2, so I figured 2 hours would be ample. Unfortunately due to long waits from the kitchen/server we were almost late to our next engagement. I don't know if this was just my experience but honestly we didn't have a great time. Maybe if it was less busy.

Had an excellent experience at Athos! We were having a birthday dinner on a Monday evening, and the server was happy to keep a cake in the fridge for us while we dined. We had a variety of dishes, including the mezze sampler, greek salad, and the lamb shank entree. Everything was delicious and the lamb shank literally fell off the bone - would highly recommend. TLDR; great service and amazing food!

we return to this place time and again, by ourselves and with guests. A variety of dishes from light to substantial, lots of vegetables too. Nice deserts. A small wine list.
