Serving Pittsburghers since 1930. Whether you're enjoying our food at our restaurant, at home, or at a wedding - Atria's makes it Good to Be Here. The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area

    Since Atrias in Pleasant Hills closed and Mt Lebanon is under reconstruction, we thought we’d try the Washington rd location and it was worth it. Excellent Chicken Picatta and the brownie and ice cream for dessert was delicious. We had reservations for 7:30 and even though it was only the two of us we were seated in the room for a group setting. Two long tables and a couple of tables for four people. It was loud and I would suggest for a party of two insist to be seated in the center dining room because honestly I think the bar was quieter. We had the very same problem at Juniper Grill in Pleasant Hills.

    Food was good and we had a good waitress. The music that played in the background was Led Zeplin and other rock options which did not provide a very relaxing or classy classy ambience.

    Sadly Atria’s has gone downhill over the last few years as evidenced by our dinner last night. Service overall was very slow. The salad took forever…and then after 15 or so minutes it arrived… AT THE SAME TIME as our entrees!! The waitress claimed she was waiting and reminding the chef, but seeing no other tables having this issue I question that excuse. They didn’t even have the courtesy to remove it from the bill. My fries came without ketchup.. so I asked for it and then waited forever. She finally reappeared without it and I asked again. This time she said that the large container they use to fill the small cups was empty and it was taking time to open a new one. Seriously?! This excuse is so bad it’s comical. This really is a shame because the food itself (crab cake and grilled asparagus) were very good.

    We had the best dinner out in a long time! Thankful for the sweet waitress that highly recommended my meal and offered to take a pic of us celebrating our 44th First Date Anniversary ❤️💓

    Great service. Nice selection of food. Pork chop and fries were great. Crab cake portion was very very small for the price.

    Our experience at the bar was great, the bartender was friendly and competent. But the service in the dining area wasn't great. I realize that they were busy and I tried to keep that in mind. But we had to remind the staff several times about items that didn't arrive. My salad came well into dinner not before as they offered. My wife didn't get an item that she ordered. Our tabletop was so loose that we had to use our knees to keep the top still. Overall, the food was good and we plan to go back but they need to improve.

    The restaurant overbooked so we did not eat there. Our reservations were 715 and the people that were waiting for 630 reservations were not getting seated yet. Next time they should not make as many reservations or tell the people eating to hurry up after they’re done.

    The service was great from our waitress, even though we did not get our salads. The biggest problem was the temperature of the room. There was cold air blowing from directly above us. There was a thermostat right next to the table but it did not seem to be working because it was set for 76 and the temp never got above 64. The cold air would sometimes stop but it was persistent enough that it was uncomfortable and we had to put our coats on. Someone needs to have the HVAC examined.
