Van de OpenTable-redactie: De grill van Banacora, in het centrum van Phoenix, ging voor het eerst aan in 2021.     After trying to get in here for a while, it was definitely worth the wait. The food was fantastic, some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. We tried the bone marrow, scallop ceviche, the bbq ribs, and the chicken platter. They all had interesting twists, bold cilantro and lime flavors, and smoky flavor from their wood fired grilled integrated. Very generous portions. The cocktails were unique and delicious. Finally, as someone who is the biggest flan fan, their hot chocolate flan was awesome. Wait staff were very attentive and friendly.

    Food was very good however it is not worth the struggle trying to get a reservation. And our reservation was for 8:15 and their website indicates they follow a 2 hour table time. They stop serving at 10:00 and at 9:45, while we are still eating and still a half hour away from our 2 hour limit, we were told we needed to have our food boxed up. I was just a little stunned and asked for at least 5 more minutes so we could continue to eat. It was not like they were going to sit anyone at our table so definitely no need to hurry us along. I felt unappreciated.

    This was our 2nd time dining here. Amazing everything, once again. We got the Elote, ceviche, and snapper. Everything was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Tried 4 different cocktails, all very unique, different and delicious. This place deserves 100% of the hype it receives.

    Food was great. Was able to snag a rest the night before for a late seating. Loghan our server was super hospitable & guided us thoroughly through the menu! All her suggestions were outstanding. Culinary team was super friendly.

    The food was very good and service was great but for $300 for the ribeye not sure I would spend that much again as there are better tomahawks for a cheaper price elsewhere. Would like to go back and try the chicken and pork for way less

    Great!!!! They did not have the ribeye but we tried the pollo asado platter and was superb! Everything tastes like home!!

    We love our visits to Bacanora! The food, the staff & service, and the ambiance are perfect! Since the menu changes regularly it’s a new experience each time! On this visit the snapper al pastor & scallop ceviche were phenomenal!! Cassandra, Alex, Logan, Cecilia, Kara, & the wonderful bartenders are always so welcoming & the service is exceptional! We can’t wait to visit again!

    I found a last minute reservation for 5 available and I’m so happy that I took it because the meal was simply spectacular. We had some wonderful mussels, ceviche, and esquites, followed by the pollo asado. Service was also super helpful and guided us through the whole meal.

    Came back to Bacanora for my monthly solo date. It never disappoints. The team is always so welcoming and kind. Its buzzing everytime I go in and I always feel so lucky to land a table whenever I do. The food always feels like it came from a family kitchen in the most delicious and refined way possible. I will be back again and again and again and again.
