   The food was great! Staff was amazing per usual and we got our food almost immediately!! Everything was great!

   Waitress was attentive. We did not have a long wait for the food. Price not outrageous. Would come again.

   Food was great! We brought a coworker in for her birthday and I was a little disappointed they did not acknowledge her birthday. I know when I made the reservation on Open Table, I did list that we were coming to celebrate a birthday.

   Our small group of 5 coworkers went to Bakersfield on a Monday night for 8pm. Great menu overall. We started we a few appetizers and chip and salsa. We shared a pitcher of Margarita. Most of us had a selection of tacos. They were all delicious. Good service and casual atmosphere. Nice restaurant to come as group. Will come back again to Bakersfield in the future.

   We brought young children which we noted on our reservation and were seated appropriately with kid’s menus and the most lovely waitress. The food was good as always but appreciated the care and iclusion given to our party.

   We are visiting Indianapolis for a national trade show. We ate dinner at Bakersfield - Mass Ave on a Monday night at 6pm. We were seated quickly and our server promptly took our order. They do not bring or offer water - we never asked for any and ordered two alcoholic beverages. We decided to get the dinner for two for $26. That’s how it is listed on the menu along with description of what you get which was six tacos, a starter (chips and salsa or chips and guacamole or chips and queso) then two sides which made the dinner for two seem like a deal because that was basically the cost for six tacos. The chips and guacamole was very good as were the two sides (rice and beans - this was served side by side on one plate as a side to share and we chose empanadas as our second side which came with three). The tacos which are street taco size. We didn’t care for the Baja shrimp tacos but the fish tacos and carne Asada were very good. We were a little surprised when our bill came to find that the dinner for two was $26 per person not $26 for two. We felt this was not clarified anywhere on the menu or by our server. We did not feel the tacos and sides along with chips and guacamole warranted a $52 charge. Over all we gave the restaurant four out of five stars. It was good to very good but not excellent.

   Bakersfield is one of my wife and I’s favorite spots. Service is always awesome, atmosphere is great, and the food is always top-tier. The lovely server we had recently, Dasha (please forgive me if I’m misspelling that), was absolutely fantastic. She was quick, attentive, and had amazing customer service skills. If you enjoy things like tacos, chips & salsa, guacamole, etc., you will absolutely NOT be disappointed.

    The food was amazing. We got a margarita and the dinner for two! What a great deal, we were full and had so many tacos, The Baja shrimp was the best by far!
