I’d like to start of by saying that it’s not my first time visiting, which is why I recommended the location to my friends. Upon arrival we were greeted by a great host who handed us over to a man to seat us. When escorted to our table, I kindly asked if we (party of 4) could get a booth instead. He stated that booths were only for parties of 6+, although there were a total of 6 different tables/booths available. The table was tight in the corner in between two other tables. We have big coats and unfortunately we’re not able to make ourselves fit. When the waiter arrived we requested a different table (not booth) and he stated that was the hostess job so I had to go back downstairs to request. His tone was very rude given we were kindly explaining our situation. Although we were moved, we later noticed that the host seated a COUPLE in a booth. It felt like we were being discriminated for being brown. I truly didn’t appreciate the tone of the male host and male waiter.

Delicious food—loved the kale salad and the caccio e Pepe and the Brussels sprouts! And the mezcal cocktail was delicious

Our service was pretty poor. Our server seemed disinterested in answering any questions. Food was ok, small portions for the price. Ambience was nice so we chose this spot for Christmas Eve dinner, however we were disappointed.

Came for the lobster pasta, they were out. I ordered another pasta and was served the wrong one. The food runner sneezed in his arm with our plate in his hand. The food we did have was delicious. Oysters were large and fresh.

We had a billing snafu and our server chased us down outside. We had to come back in and re-pay the bill. Awkward for our guests.

I ordered the fillet, which didn’t taste like real meat. It was so terrible. I’ve never had a worst steak in my life. The appetizers were also just as bad we had the potato skins, which was so oily and edible and the burrata , which didn’t taste like a real Barbara very disappointed
