   Very nice. Food was much better than expected. Our server, Tim, was friendly, efficient and knew when to approach and when not to. The food was well timed and evenly spaced. Food itself was delicious! Will definitely come again!

   We went to Bay View for the first time during Restaurant Week. We immediately noticed that while there were many tables full, it wasn't noisy, a plus for us to make it easier to chat among our group. We had excellent service, pleasant staff and the food was delicious. Added bonus is the views of the bay. We are anxious to go back and check out dishes from the regular menu!

   Great service. Food was great. Piano player was wonderful, playing many ballads and standards—really enhanced the dining experience

   An excellent dinner. Staff were very friendly and responsive. Ambiance was romantic with piano player there.

   I always judge restaurant by the vegetables served with the entrepreneur. Each of the several vegetables were delectable and the scalloped potatoes the greatest ever. The beef short ribs were so tender no knife was needed! Service was friendly and very accommodating. A truly lovely experience

   We went with friends for a special occasion and had a wonderful experience. First time at Bay View restaurant. Our dinners were outstanding!!! I had the coq au vin, one person ordered the cedar planked salmon and two ordered the braised short ribs. The portions are generous and the presentation is really beautiful. The oysters appetizer plate was presented beautifully too. The service was wonderful- very pleasant, attentive but not hovering. The space is lovely- fireplace, white linen cloths, a rose on each table, nice lighting. And a full bar. We were really glad we’d decided to go here for this special holiday get-together and will definitely be back. This gem needs to be supported!!! Don’t miss the gingerbread Bodega display created by the very talented chef.

   Wonderful atmosphere and ambience! The menu is more than adequate for my pescatarian diet. Throughly enjoyed the live music. Service was topnotch, friendly without being stuffy or overbearing. If you’re looking for a classy and elegant spot with delicious food look no further. Much thanks to the staff and management for providing an excellent dining experience.

   Our server, Rosie was fabulous. She knew the wines and her timing was excellent. We had the crab stuffed mushrooms which were incredible. Shared the tornadoes….excellent! My husband loved his seafood pasta. Will definitely return.

   Table of 3, one first time SonomaCoast visitor from Texas originally from NOLA Inviting atmosphere and delightfully attentive service Started with generous cocktails that were followed by dungenous crab filled mushrooms and a crab avacado tower on gustapo. Short rib on scolloped potatoes, fresh seafood medely with lite creamy tomato sauce and halibut served on lentels with cream caper sauce were all fully enjoyed A lite sparkling wine was selected and enjoyed to meet our guests preference Our comfortable dining experience was made possible by Rosie our attentive, accommodating server. A wonderful evening

    We are at rocker oysterfellers for dinner then came here for dessert, it was amazing! A plus! Only thing was they were a little upset we only had dessert. But really, who cares we are on vacation!
