   We hadn’t been to this restaurant for several years and it was obvious the management had changed. The major problem was the service. Our server did not come to the table and we had to ask someone to find her. She finally came over and asked if we were ready to order. We said we would like to start with cocktails. She asked if we were also ready to order food. We told her we wanted cocktails first. She seemed put out. When she brought our drinks she pushed us to order, so we did along with a bottle of wine. The kitchen started to bring the food before we finished our drinks. Then, there was no wine and no server. We finally had to flag down another server to ask for our wine. The wine should have been brought soon after we ordered and opened to breathe. The manager came over to look up our wine and brought it a glasses, some of which were wet. The lamb was uncooked and the halibut was overcooked. The server passed by a couple of times but always seem disinterested. She was also dressed in distressed jeans which did not seem appropriate for the restaurant. It’s too bad because this is a nice location and a nice space.

   Amazing decline from the opening a few years ago. Food is consistent but the wait staff and management are atrocious. Sad.

   Nice staff. Asked for my salmon to be medium rare it was overdone and the wine (Sancerre) was awful. Not a Sancerre and if it was it was an old one. Not a tough meal to do well.

   The atmosphere is lovely and the food was delicious !! I would highly recommend!

   Love the Beacon Hill Hotel and will continue to support but wish the service was more crisp. Everything from receiving an initial beverage, requesting salad dressing on the side and receiving it on the salad, looking for waiters to refill water glasses and generally a lack of checking in is frustrating. Everyone is very nice but seem stressed out.

   Superb in just about every way. Best for special occasions, unless you’re ok with aggressive prices.

   Lovely setting, perfect snowy night vibe. Comfortable dining and enjoying the company of others. From Franklin, as the Maitre d' to Maria our waitress, we were greeted and served with such warmth and professionalism. The menu is splendid and diverse. The food cooked to perfection. Might hang out at the bar sometime. Cozy and welcoming!

   Everything was great except the bus girl dropped a water glass which broke into a million pieces right when we sat down. She simply disappeared. Thank goodness our waiter came over to help but it should have been handled much better and much quicker. Needless to say it was difficult to get water the rest of the meal as the bus girl simply avoided us 🤷‍♀️

    Food very well prepared and served. Not particularly original or creative, but really well done. Quiet, comfortable ambience, with some of the tables rather close together. First class service
