A unique cultural history has helped to make Lebanese food the most popular of all Middle Eastern cuisines. For most of its past, Lebanon has been ruled by foreign powers that have influenced the types of food the Lebanese ate. From 1516 to 1918, the Ottoman Turks controlled Lebanon and introduced a variety of foods that have become staples in the Lebanese diet, including olive oil, fresh bread, baklava (a sweet pastry dessert), laban (homemade yogurt), stuffed vegetables, and a variety of nuts. The Ottomans also increased the popularity of lamb.

After the Ottomans were defeated in World War I (1914–1918), France took control of Lebanon until 1946, when the country won its independence. During this time, the French introduced some of their most widely eaten foods, particularly treats such as flan, a caramel custard dessert dating back to the 1500s, and buttery croissants.

Lovely staff who put up with our noisy kids, and the food was great to boot. A couple more little kid friendly options might have been good, but we were very happy. Thank you team!

This Lebanese restaurant offers amazing food with rich flavors, a chic interior, and warm, welcoming staff who made us feel like their fam. Perfectly located near top shopping “Harrods”, it's a must-visit for a delightful dining experience.

Excellent food, we chose one of the set menu options and the food was plentiful with excellent flavours. Not at all greasy. The staff were friendly and the restaurant was clean.

The food was so good especially the shakshuka .. we went for breakfast and we had the best one .. the staff was so accommodating and friendly ..

Great food, lots of options, very vegetarian friendly. The staff were super friendly, made sure everything was set, adjusted menus for dietary requirements with no extra charge, took care of everything.

Overall, a delightful experience. We ordered a couple hot & cold mezze appetizers - the falafel and hoummos, and a small rocket salad to start - all tasty and satisfying. And then for our Mains, my mom had the mixed-grill and I the grilled sea bass, also both delicious. We were then treated to complimentary baklava at the end of our meal. We were quite stuffed then and hadn't intended on getting dessert, so that was indeed a nice gesture. Overall, a pleasant experience.
