Inspired by fresh ingredients and local producers, our food menu at Belgard Kitchen highlight Canadian ingredients from east to west, taking influence from techniques across the globe, while our drink menus showcase BC wines as well as craft beer & cider made in house.

Open daily, we offer weekday lunch, weekend brunch, with dinner and and happy hour served seven nights a week.

We love to celebrate! We host full restaurant buy outs for larger groups & events, while our mezzanine and alcove spaces are ideal for intimate occasions & private dining any day of the week.

When I made my reservation, I selected "best of Belgard" and leading up to our reservation we were looking for a menu of what that entailed. We have been to Belgard many times, so not finding anything was alright with us because it's always been good to us. After ordering cocktails we talked about the Best of Belgard menu and it turns out our server picks for us after having a conversation about our likes, preferences for dining, including whether or not we wanted dessert. To make a long story short, we had an amuse bouche, a couple starters, a pasta dish then a protein and wine pairings the whole way. Completely a home run for the food, quality of preparation, the items selected, the service (we truly felt like welcome guests) and genuine care for comfort. We already have spent our last two Thanksgivings with them and will continue to come back, again and again.

Great space, lots of tables. Nice mix, selection of local offerings (foods and wine). Very nice surprise to find hidden in Vancouver. We opted for the tasting menu and were absolutely stuffed by the end. Very nice meal!

Everything was sweet. We ordered the caesar, the hash, and eggs benny and everything had a sweet taste to it. Service was fantastic and the vibes were great.

Hey Alicia, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review of your experience with us, we'll take this feedback to our kitchen team. There shouldn't be anything sweet in any of those items apart from perhaps the natural sweetness of the tomatoes, and as well the cornbread base to the benny which does have a bit of sweetness to it. That said nothing should be noticeably sweet so we will definitely look further into this. I was surprised at how good this was, considering the reasonable price. The restaurant was very trendy in an old, unique location, and the food was inventive and fun. The best octopus I have ever had! The area is shady, but you know that if you know Vancouver. I plan to come again soon!

We had a wonderful Valentine’s dinner at Belgard. Every course in the Valentine’s menu was exceptional. Such a variety of flavours. Loved the signature cocktail! The service was amazing. We are looking forward to returning soon.

It was a really romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. The pre-fix dinner was delicious and they accommodated our food intolerances (dairy and gluten). The beet salad minus the ricotta cheese lacked flavor but was better with some salt and pepper. Otherwise the food was delicious and the ambiance very cool. Thank you!

So cold in there I was frozen. We did dine out. The Cesar my friend got she really disliked. The bacon was good, the French toast was okay. The mains were pretty good but both drinks nor starts were not worth it. Services and staff were good and friendly though. The place is super cute and historical. Loved the plants, metal and wood combo.

The service on Saturday morning was incredibly disappointing. We were a group of three and waited for 20 minutes for someone to take our order. It took another 30 minutes to get our first drink. Coffee arrived about 10 minutes later. Despite the spectacular ambiance and the good quality of the food, I was not prepared for the slow service. If the staff had paid more attention to our table, I would have given them a five-star review.
