We opened our pizzeria in Clapham a few years ago with a simple mission; serve great food in a beautiful space, like with all of the Berberè sites. Now, a few years later we have lovely local following that come in droves, especially at the weekend.

Although open all year round, from springtime onwards you can sit outside on the terrace with a negroni, glass of prosecco or a craft beer and transport yourself to Italy, surrounded by festoon lights and olive trees. Inside, you'll find two beautiful rooms with an open kitchen that spreads across the two sides. If you're lucky and book enough in advance, you could hire the side room for a private booking (up to 40 people). We've had people celebrate birthdays galore, wedding parties, end of exam parties to name a few - you name the occasion and we'll sort the party.

We use organic tomatoes and organic extra virgin olive oil from Puglia (Alce Nero). Fiordilatte mozzarella arrives fresh from Napoli and the organic flour is from Emilia Romagna (Molini Pivetti). Wines are from winemakers who drink their own wine.

Veggie Cheese: We import most of our cheese from Italy which means that they are made using traditional methods often using animal rennet. We still like to think of these as vegetarian, so if you want to make sure your meal is 100% vegetarian, please opt for one of our vegan dishes.

Service charge: All tips are gratefully received, and 100% goes to our team. A discretionary 12.5% service charge is added. Drinks with sugar are now subject to an additional 10p HMRC drinks levy.

Terrible. Rude staff who refused to give us our booked table, because it wasn’t ready and asked us to stand outside in the February weather and rain on a Saturday night. We asked to stand inside out of the way, and she said if we didn’t stand outside, she wouldn’t allow us to sit down. We didn’t even get to enjoy our dinner and went and spent our money else where.

Very good pizza,Food was great, took a little longer than you would think but we were quickly reassured and it was Valentines so to be expected. I love the menu very well thought out and seasonal. Some interesting pizzas but nothing too crazy, it just makes sense. The dough is to die for and the crust is the best part. Will be back a lot!

Very good pizzas—the sourdough is amazing! However, the quality of the toppings could be improved. For example, in the Norma, the main ingredient should be aubergines, but they were quite scarce, and there is an excess of pesto, which is not in the original recipe. Similarly, in the smoked Margherita, the smoked cheese was almost unnoticeable. This is true for most of their pizzas. Overall however, it's one of the best pizza places in London, with excellent service and reasonable prices. The outdoor seating in the pedestrian street makes it a great spot, especially in the summer. However, the indoor area can be very noisy.

Great pizza! Waiter was super attentive for the first half and then dropped off a bit but I think it just got busier. Would recommend doing a half and half with someone though as the pizza is quite big so you’ll get bored of the flavour half way through!

Great food and really good value. We had a booking for 7:30pm and had to wait 15 mins outside to be seated but other than that the service was great.
