Bernini’s Bistro & Bar has been the local's favorite in La Jolla for the past 24 years. We offer a wide variety of entrees at very affordable prices that will please all guests. Try one of our homemade organic pasta, wood-fired pizza, or seafood dishes. We offer Happy Hour 5 days a week Sunday-Thursday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Good food using quality ingredients. Prices are gneerally fair. Portions are geneous. . An ongoing issue for us, hwoever, is that they don't not serve any bread with a entrée salad. If you want bread, there is a menu item that is $4.9 that is setved with a tapenade but that's an unreasonable price if all you want is a piece of bread. Additionally, if you want coffee, it takes a long time to get it beause they only have one working espresso machine.

Highly recommend Bernini’s, we were in the area for a comedy show and came here for dinner before, and were so pleased with our experience. The service, food, and overall ambiance was fantastic! Such a cute place and obvious that locals love it as it seemed there were a lot of regulars who knew the staff well. We will definitely be back to try more items!

I had the mushroom soup and the glorious garlic bread! Amazing!!! My husband had the salmon- he really like the nice sized fillet. My daughter had the pasta Nero. We were all very pleased. We sat out side but the heaters kept us nice and warm.

Lovely environment, great service and delicious food. This place is walkable with easy parking. The pizzas and salads were amazing.

Another delicious meal at Bernini’s! Service is always excellent and the food comes out even more beautiful and delicious than the last time. I’m a native and remember eating at Berninis in HS! It’s so wonderful that this village staple has stood the test of time… probably bc the food is always good and service friendly and kind. Favorites are the heirloom and burrata Caprese, chicken parm, trout, mud pie and of course the Budino💕. Can’t wait to go back!

I celebrated my 60th birthday with my family and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We will continue dining here.

A go-to place for many who live in La Jolla, Bernini's is always good, sometimes great. Pasta generally isn't overcooked (a frequent problem is American "Italian" restaurants, and the service is generally good, Nice people. Can be noisy but it makes it festive.

We love Bernini's and have been there many times over the past two decades. The food is always good, and the service is reliable. This time, we were seated in the back by the restrooms, and it was so noisy we could barely hear each other. This is a small room with another table of ten or more next to us. Given the small space, the noise was too much. The food was excellent though, and we would still come back, but we wouldn't want to sit back there again.
