Bernini’s Bistro & Bar has been the local's favorite in La Jolla for the past 24 years. We offer a wide variety of entrees at very affordable prices that will please all guests. Try one of our homemade organic pasta, wood-fired pizza, or seafood dishes. We offer Happy Hour 5 days a week Sunday-Thursday from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. I had the mushroom soup and the glorious garlic bread! Amazing!!! My husband had the salmon- he really like the nice sized fillet. My daughter had the pasta Nero. We were all very pleased. We sat out side but the heaters kept us nice and warm.

Lovely environment, great service and delicious food. This place is walkable with easy parking. The pizzas and salads were amazing.

Another delicious meal at Bernini’s! Service is always excellent and the food comes out even more beautiful and delicious than the last time. I’m a native and remember eating at Berninis in HS! It’s so wonderful that this village staple has stood the test of time… probably bc the food is always good and service friendly and kind. Favorites are the heirloom and burrata Caprese, chicken parm, trout, mud pie and of course the Budino💕. Can’t wait to go back!

A go-to place for many who live in La Jolla, Bernini's is always good, sometimes great. Pasta generally isn't overcooked (a frequent problem is American "Italian" restaurants, and the service is generally good, Nice people. Can be noisy but it makes it festive.

We love Bernini's and have been there many times over the past two decades. The food is always good, and the service is reliable. This time, we were seated in the back by the restrooms, and it was so noisy we could barely hear each other. This is a small room with another table of ten or more next to us. Given the small space, the noise was too much. The food was excellent though, and we would still come back, but we wouldn't want to sit back there again.

Had a reservation and was seated right away when we checked in. Was seated in a nice booth. Enjoyed the holiday decor. Our waiter came shortly after and we all ordered drinks. He gave us as much time as we needed to decide on what to order. Drinks and food came efficiently and when a few us mentioned that we were sharing an entree, the waiter said the kitchen could split it for us. Had a great experience and will return in the near future.

Wonderful food and service. The garlic bread was amazing - homemade dough, soft and chewy at the same time, and expertly flavored. The care this restaurant takes in all the details is clear - from the seasonal decorations to the consistently delicious food and impeccable service! We were celebrating a birthday, and they brought a great dessert treat that was absolutely delicious! Thank you Bernini’s for consistently delivering this exceptional level of dining experience! We dine out pretty frequently and this restaurant is really a gem.
