After a long day of adventuring with the family, come “Wine” down at your new favorite Pocono’s Restaurant. Our robust menu ranges from Prime Dry-Aged Steaks to Classic Italian Pastas, as a new staple of your dining-out experience waiting to be discovered. Various worldly wines and delicious cocktails will keep you warm throughout the evening or maybe that’s just the feeling of the whole family laughing together again. In addition to indoor seating, a deck with tables is available seasonally and weather permitting.

    Most horrible experience EVER!!! Booked a table for V-DAY @ 9:45pm which was the earliest available. Waiter came to take our order, did not write anything down and did not listen to what we asked for. Requested straight shot with one cube of ice and he brought it with cup full of ice after I had to remind him 3 times to bring the drink. Kids asked for side of lime and lemon for their waters which I also needed to remind him to bring. We ordered steak WELL DONE and all 3 steaks came out bloody. We started eating it but it was just way too bloody. Asked to put it back on the grill, got mine cooked but was told my wife's was cut up too much to re-cook. Common sense would be to make her a new steak which they did not offer and just shoved the uncooked steak back on the table. I have eaten at 100+ steak houses and would have to say, I am not going to be in the mood for steak for a while. TOTAL DISASTER AND A MOOD KILLER ESPECIALLY ON VALENTINE'S DAY!!! :((

    Manager hostess and server were super friendly and helpful. Apps were delish, steak left us wanting, dessert was tasty. Atmosphere and vibe was cozy and rustic. Good for kids 8+

    We had a 915 reservation and it was starting to snow so we tried to bump  it up as we were ready to go at 8 o’clock and according to OpenTable there is no reservations to modify it too so we figured it was packed. We got there exactly at 9:15 and there was only two other people in the whole restaurant which was odd to us. As soon as we sat down a waitress came over to us and said Order drinks quick because the bar is closing as it’s snowing out and we wanna go home. The whole evening was rushed the bar closed early and then they started cleaning up around us which made us feel very uncomfortable as it seemed like they all wanted to go home as there was only 2 inches of snow on the ground. This is a ski resort that should be equipped and have people available that know how to drive in the snow and have accommodations for when it does snow as this is a ski resort in the Poconos that snow is common. We only come here once a year and always look forward to coming to this restaurant and on a snowy evening it couldn’t have been better, but it actually was worse..

    The food was excellent, but the service slow. In addition, there was live entertainment, which was so loud it made it challenging to speak at our table.

    The “best” part of our experience was Orlando. I assume he was the manager. He was the ONLY person in the restaurant that made an attempt to salvage our experience. I will start by acknowledging that we showed up an hour early before our reservation. We fully understood that it would not be guaranteed that we could get seated but thought it couldn’t hurt to check. The “hostess” Camila said if we could give her 20-30 minutes, she would seat us. No problem!! Please know there were several open tables in the restaurant. Hopefully we just caught them on a bad night but there was not one server that we saw that could handle their section that night. We saw tears, arguments, & frustrated employees. It was wild! At the 50 minute mark & after checking in with Camila - who tried to lecture me about how reservations work - Orlando came over & asked if we would like a drink while we waited at some fries for the kids who were being SO patient! He thanked us for understanding & being patient. We told him we would have just gone back to the hotel to wait had we not been told we could get seated. Fifteen minutes later, we were seated at the… drumroll … a 6 top that was empty the ENTIRE TIME we were waiting! Our server Heidi started off very nice but we only saw her twice. Our water glasses sat empty even after asking for refills. We would have ordered more cocktails if we had been given the opportunity. To top it all off, we were there to celebrate my best friends birthday, which I noted in the reservation. Not once was this acknowledged or commented on. We did not expect a party but WOW. This was underwhelming at best! … I wish I could tell you that at least the food made up for a bit of it but it was just fine - nothing spectacular. If I had a do-over, we would have sat outside by the fire at the Trail’s End and enjoyed our night! I hate that we wasted our time & money.
