These beautiful, historic rooms - located on the first floor of our Harrogate tea room- are steeped in history and provide the perfect setting for our most exquisite afternoon tea.

You'll be serenaded by our pianist as you enjoy a lavish selection of dainty sandwiches, specially selected teas and irresistible miniature cakes and scones.

    Highly recommend booking an afternoon tea for the full experience. You can tell how much care is put into everything, from the attentive service to the decoration of the room. We were lucky enough to get the festive menu, and it was a real treat!

    Fantastic time could not fault anything. Our waiter was lovely brought us plenty of sandwiches when we needed a refill! Beautiful food, drinks and atmosphere which made the special occasion even more special!

    We chose the Festive afternoon tea in the Imperial Suite. We pre-booked and on arrival we were shown to our table. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and professional but not overpowering, nothing was too much trouble. The tea/coffee and food was of a standard that you would expect from an establishment of this standing. There should be a law somewhere that states it is unlawful to visit Harrogate and not call in at Betty's. That last sentence was a little biased as we both love visiting Harrogate and of course Betty's.

    I took myself out for tea today because I was in town for an extended weekend. Ann, my server was amazing. The tea was delicious and the food was outstanding. I will be back.
