Absolutely amazing place! Love the entrance into the bar, but the bar itself is gorgeous. The cocktails and food were next level but the best part of the experience were the bar staff! These girls were so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. Highly recommend!

Love this place so much we came back the second time we were in Sydney. The food is all terrific and the drinks are on point. Great ambiance. Hidden gem. We came early so not too busy. Wonderful fun experience here. Loved the warm olives, wagyu burger, burrata, and the tacos (when available)

Tucked away in an unassuming bookcase entrance, this hidden bar feels like a delightful secret you're almost reluctant to share. From the moment you step inside, the intimate, speakeasy-style ambiance transports you to a world of curated cocktails and good food. While the drinks are the stars, the food deserves equal praise. ,dishes are thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented, combining bold flavors with fresh ingredients. It's rare to find a bar where the food is as much a reason to visit as the drinks, but this spot strikes that perfect balance. This bar is a must-visit. The staff were beyond accommodating for my birthday booking. They went out of their way to make preferred drinks, recommend speciality drinks and even went and got candles for my cake. They were extremely pleasant and helpful and made the night so easy and fun.

Beyond the Bookcase was such an inviting and immersive experience. The team had a fun vibe, the drinks were so good and the prawn linguini was to die for. The atmosphere and music was top notch as well. 10/10 would go again!
