   Great place with quality service and a product worth looking forward to! Catch the happy hour; otherwise, expect steakhouse prices. Buy an acre and a cow! But seriously this place rocks don’t think twice about it.

   Amazing restaurant and great food. Everything was delicious and very well-done. Highly recommend to people that like to go to steakhouse.

   The food was absolutely incredible—the best steak we’ve ever had, and the fries were amazing! The host greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. John, our server, was fantastic. He took the time to explain the menu and steak sauces in detail, helping us choose the perfect meal! The service was top-notch, and everything was cooked to perfection. We’ve definitely found a new favorite spot and will be back soon!

   Great restaurant! Fabulous food, impeccable service, only take away was the infant 2 seats down. She got a little fussy and it was distracting.

   The best steak I have ever had anywhere! Hands down. The garlic mashed potatoes are also outstanding as is the chocolate mouse . The server ( Stef) was knowledgeable , friendly and very efficient . We drive 3 1/2 hours just to eat here! I just wish they would reserve bar seats . We would love to sit at the bar but it is always full.

   We will definitely be back to black cow. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and cuts of meat. We were a few minutes early for our reservation and our table was not quite ready so staff were very helpful and seated us at the bar with menus while we waited. A short wait and then we were seated. Steak was cooked to order and the sides were excellent! Recommend the Brussels!

    Our service was wonderful - thank you, Melanie and Katie! The staff was helpful, knowledgable and the food was some of the best we've had in Charlottesville. It is an expensive night, but in the category of expensive dinners, this was worth every penny. Everything felt thoughtful - from the description, to the pairings to the presentation.
