Situated in the heart of la Roma, Blanco Colima is a restaurant located in one of the most iconic buildings of the end of the Porfiriato with an unbeatable architectural framework. A space opened to culture, art and gastronomy.

The gastronomy of Blanco Colima it’s a fusion between Spanish cuisine with Mexican accents. Its based on products of the highest quality creating a menu that focuses on the ingredient through our chef’s perspective.

Very cool vibe with DJ playing energetic music, but not overwhelming. Excellent service and very good food. It is an open air restaurant so be prepared with a light jacket or sweater

Deliciosa comida y gran servicio. Hay espacios con música más alta y otros con ambiente más familiar dependiendo de lo que busques.

Lo que destaca de este lugar es el servicio 10/10, muy amables, el lugar es lindo y el ambiente es bueno. La comida es buena pero nada que sorprenda. 8/10 Pedí en terraza y con los calentadores no se sentía frío.

The food was served cold, and while the place is Instagrammable, the quality of the food didn’t match the aesthetics. The service was minimal, just focused on delivering the food without much else to offer.

We explained to our server in Spanish that we were allergic to gluten and dairy. She proceeded to make recommendations for items on the menu that contained the allergens we were trying to avoid. Finally when it seemed that she understood, after taking our order, she asked if we had any allergies. I was pretty shocked considering the discussion of 10 mins that proceeded this. My husband still received an item that contained both gluten and dairy but luckily he’s not the one with allergies. One of our dishes, the beef cheek tacos came and when we opened the container 3/4 of tacos had already been bit and were cold. Did they give us someone else’s eaten food? Did the kitchen staff bite our food? Unclear. While they took it away and promptly brought us a new one, our main courses took another 15-20mins to arrive after that. We weren’t clear if the waitress forgot to put the order in or if it was taking a long time to prepare because the staff didn’t check in on us in the way you’d expect at a restaurant of this caliber. I would say this was a dud and I wouldn’t recommend it to other travelers.

It took very long between the dishes we ordered by which time our kids were restless, tired and wanted to go home and we were also not happy with the long wait. We then asked the waiter if we could cancel the remaining two dishes but upon consulting with his manager they refused to cancel them. This was unfortunate because other than this we were very happy with the service and would have given good rating.

Food It is absolutely amazing. I loved everything. Only thing that I didn’t like that much it was that I reserved in the second floor and I got a table at the bar.

Excelente servicio y los alimentos deliciosos. Exceptuando la sopa de lima, no es que esté mal, pero en lo personal prefiero la sopa de lima tradicional yucateca.

Todo estuvo muy bien, el lugar me encantó, la pasé increible, lo único fue le ruido de la mesa de un lado porque había una niña que no dejaba de llorar, fuera de eso, todo estuvo muy bien; Aunque me gustaría que hubiera otras opciones en el menu.
