We made a reservation prior, got there a little early so we sat the bar. It was packed and busy and loud, Decided to order an appetizer we went with the blu roll.. which was amazing. We got the don’t be shy drink which was also delicious. At our reservation time we got a call saying our table is ready. Our waiter was awesome, friendly, great service overall. The food however(aside from the sushi) was meh. We both ordered the wagyu steak, while mine was good my husbands was overly salty that’s all he tasted. For the price it wasn’t worth it. The sides as well, you get maybe 4oz of mashed potatoes and creamed spinach for $13 that’s crazy. If you’re coming for sushi and drinks, go for it. The food itself was not so “OMG it’s delicious” especially for the price. The view was nice at least with the city and service was great.

Had dinner as a party of 8 for my partner’s 50th birthday. The meal was wonderful from appetizers to desserts, there wasn’t a single item not enjoyed. I originally chose Blu due to the diverse menu and they delivered great food across the range from sushi to chicken parm.

Incredible experience, perfect service and food, amazing atmosphere, John the waiter and the team did everything to make us feel special and enjoy the food. I highly recommend Blu at the Hudson for any occasion it’s a very special place.

The wait staff was excellent, the oysters were good. Everything else was mediocre at best. I had the Filet Mignon, it was dry and tasteless,

Food was amazing, ambience was impressive, the dinning tables in the lobby are a bit weird, but the service was impeccable. Would go again!

got there a little past my time reserved but the lady kindly gave me and my wife a seat food was 10/10 service 10/10 everything was just really great roasted chicken and chicken parm 10/10!!

Overall, the food and service were great. We were seated quickly upon our arrival and our server arrived almost immediately. We started with cocktails that did not disappoint, and the Wagyu "Bacon" & Basque Style Shrimp appetizers were an excellent start. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the Rigatoni Bolognese - the pasta was cooked to al dente perfection and the wagyu was a tasty and pleasant addition. I enjoyed the Wagyu Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce - it was cooked perfectly; tender as can be, and the sauce was the perfect accompaniment. I also ordered a side of the Truffle French Fries with Truffle Crema & dusted with Pecorino cheese - Excellent!!! We are both looking forward to a return trip when the weather will allow us to sit outside and enjoy the NYC skyline while dining!!
