                                                                                          The food was delicious, fresh, with large portions and several options for vegetarians and vegans. The homemade veggie burger and rosemary fries were delicious and the sides and salads were large enough for a meal. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere became lively and louder later in the evening, but was cozy and quiet before the true dinner hour--though the seats are very close together so it would not be the ideal choice for an intimate, romantic dinner. Overall, I would highly recommend the Blue Dog Cookhouse and Bar and will definitely return if I'm in that neighborhood again.

                                                                                          There wasn’t much space inside so we sat in the “corridor” outside. Comfortable, but a little drafty. Would be great on a warm day. We had salads and eggs- the quinoa salad was delicious and filling. Good service and overall very nice experience. Would come again.

Lobster ravioli was amazing and the drinks were so so good! Highly recommend but def do reservations! We did same day reservations and it worked out amazing!

                                                                                          Came here for dinner, I devoured everything and forgot to take pictures. But trust me the food looked great and tasted even better. I wish the branzino was bigger but it was fillet, and the capers and accoutrement brought out even more flavor. The short ribs were great, nice and hearty, extremely soft and juicy. The décor is bespoke if I can call it that, being in/near the Theater District it made sense. Felt like I was in the sitting room at Downton Abbey (IYKYK). I find restaurants in this area to be overpriced and the food underwhelming, but not here. The service was very attentive, your water was refilled practically as soon as you finished it. Good: -Braised Short Ribs -Seared Branzino (fillet) -Chocolate Brownie Sundae -Blissful Barcelona (tequila) -Spanish Conquest (mezcal) -RSVP on OpenTable for 1000pts -Short walk from the 50th St. Subway Station (C, E trains) Bad: -Really tight quarters (beware for high top diners) -Portion sizes: I'd take at least 1 more short rib, and less mash potatoes. Branzino should be bigger for the price in my opinion

                                                                                          We loved our meal here. Firstly, the service was exceptional. So friendly, accommodating and funny. I loved the atmosphere here, I like dark ambience and it was nice with a long table in the middle. The burgers were a delight and so tasty. The only niggle was that quite a lot of the fries were burnt- I like crispy but some I couldn’t eat. The drinks were also delicious. A lovely little find!
