From the host to the server, our first time here was wonderful! Highly recommend. The host went out of his way to seat us at a more pleasurable table. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The assistant was for attentive and we never had to wait for ANYTHING.

Excellent food and experience at Blue Dog!! Service staff are professionals. Food was amazing and loved the complimentary amuse-bouche (delicious and lovely touch). Entry to restaurant feels like a speak easy, hidden gem. It is a very small restaurant (around 50 seats) so definitely recommend a reservation but the size & moody decor adds to the uniqueness. Less than 2 blocks from Gershwin theater so lovely to eat here before or after a show.

the host and the servers all went out of their way to accommodate us and ensure our comfort and best dining experience. food is very very good. place is crowded as it’s small but think if it as cozy.

Food and waiter were good. I’m giving it 2 stars since we were explicitly told that we only had an hour despite having a reservation, and the food was rushed out to us. Extremely crammed; folks going to the bathroom were lining up right by our table.

Everything we had was delish! The dining room’s a little tight, though. I would have liked fewer people seated at the communal table. Until the pre-theater diners left, it was really noisy. Also, it was a very cold night outside and the dining room was a little drafty/chilly. And extra symbols on the menu noting gluten-free options would be helpful. The service was great, tho, and all the food we tried was sensational!
