We ordered two appetizers, the steak was totally overcooked and no taste. The muscles were overcooked as well. The sushi was good and fresh. Unfortunately we both got a stomach upset. The place was so dead and I think the food was not fresh that 's why we both got sick. Sorry but We won't go back .

Service was exceptional, and food options are unique and fun. The presentation of food could be better, and we felt we paid quite a bit for what we got. We loved the complimentary fondue chocolate dessert. That dessert would be perfect for a date night. We sat in nice lounge seating, which felt cool and intimate.

Always a great experience and could tell its gaining in popularity. More than traditional on a Tuesday night and staff seemed to be pretty busy. Food still came out quick and staff got everything correct and kept waters full along with our other drinks. Love keeping this place as a go-to whenever a craving comes along.

I've been to Blue Grotto a few times, had okay experience and okay food. It's located very close to my home and while I've been on the fence about the value, convenience has won out. Until now. Friday evening 7:45pm arrival, dining room was half-full when we were seated. 25 minutes later when soup and salad arrived there was one of each rather than two of each. Apparently server did not fully understand English. 65 minutes after we arrived part of our sushi order was placed on the table and another 5-10 minutes for the final roll. The fish is fine, but the rolls were tasteless and a little sloppy looking. I am off the fence and will drive on for a better experience next time.

Sushi was not fresh...had a fishy smell. The tapas were just ok. Likewise, food came out very slow. We would not go back.
