We’re more than oysters - we’re Colorado's best seafood restaurant! Opened 2017, this is Blue Island Oyster Bar & Seafood's flagship location. Our approach is to create honest food and drinks and serve them in a comfortable, casual environment. The restaurant’s culture is inspired by memories of growing up in coastal towns with families of oyster farmers and fishermen. Like them, we strive to bring you superb hospitality and delicious food with a commitment to the freshest seafood at reasonable prices. To ensure this commitment of quality, we’ve partnered with Chris Quartuccio of Blue Island Shellfish Farms in Long Island, NY to bring you nearly daily shipments of seasonal oysters and seafood, offering favorites such as Steamed Mussels, Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, Crab Cakes, and fish like halibut, Atlantic cod and salmon, to name a few. We invite you in for dock-to-dish dining at its best!

Food is fabulous, but wish they had at least one vegetarian entree available. Our server was nice but distracted and my husband sat with an empty drink while he passed by twice. You can hear yourself talk, but it’s a bustling location with no barriers, so you hear all chatter. There was a table of boisterous women filling the place with noise. Hightop chairs could be more comfortable/sturdy. Definitely overpriced (eg $40+ for 4 scallops) but it’s Cherry Creek, so it is to be expected.

We had a wonderful dinning experience. The oysters were delicious, fresh and tasty! I had the Chilean Seabass with the miso glaze. Delish! Service was excellent and the ambience was fun and laidback. I’m happy to see a busy restaurant. Looking forward for our next visit.

We’re visiting Denver and thought we would give this place a try. Worst lobster roll I’ve ever had. The lobster was not fresh and it appeared to be crumbled into little pieces. The Spinach taste old and out of a box. Don’t waste your time !!!

We had the Valentine’s Day menu for two people. The selections were outstanding, particularly the Caesar salad, clam chowder, the fish and pasta. The dessert was OK. The most outstanding part of the meal was the attention by our servers Ashley and Ben.
