Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak combines traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern day steakhouse. Our menu is varied and extensive, and includes sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked entrees such as fish, lamb, steaks and chops. We feature Domestic and Japanese Wagyu. Blue Ribbon Sushi & Steak is located in midtown Manhattan, at the PENN 1 Building, across 33rd Street from Madison Square Garden and atop Penn Station. The restaurant is accessible from 33rd street, and from the newly renovated Penn Station and 34th Street via the lobby of PENN 1. We offer various seating areas - a sushi counter, a cocktail bar, the central dining room, and an outdoor patio (weather permitting).

    Great dinner. Husband does not eat sushi and I love it so it’s the perfect place for us to go

    The sushi had no flavor. It was unreal how bad it was. All rice, no tempura. The service was bad too. You could tell they could have cared less about service and the waitress couldn’t even say thank you after despite a 20% tip. I regret giving her anything.

    I was shocked with the food served today! The appetizers were awful. We sent them back. The sushi was lame. What happened? The food was less appealing! The sushi pieces were so small and didn’t taste good. I have lived in NYC for 35 years and this was a humungous disappoint followed by a bill for over $400!!! WT? I was shocked by the price of the bill for such bad food. I never write my option. Well, here you go. I am sure because of your name. You will continue to succeed. But, I definitely will not recommend anyone to go there. Sorry

    Great choice. We got in on a late flight and they were very accommodating. Would have liked the ability to pick and choose more sashimi offerings but I enjoyed the meal.

    As always, the food was delicious. Puya is an absolutely delightful server. I appreciate her knowledge of the food and wine list and how friendly she is.

    Absolutely amazing experience. There is not one choice in the menu that’s not fantastic!!! We have dined here before and will definitely continue to be a repeat customer

    Very lively place with good food and excellent service. My server Puya (sp?) was excellent. She knew the menu well, was courteous and professional, and treated my party with respect.
