Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar.

We proudly offer traditional Sushi & Sashimi dishes as well as entrees from our hot kitchen, including Japanese Grilled Short Ribs, Oxtail Fried Rice, BBQ Pork Spare Ribs, Salmon Tobanyaki, and our famous Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken.

We are nestled inside the historic Plymouth Hotel 1 block from the Miami Beach Convention Center and across the street from the Bass Museum of Art.

We offer seating indoors at the lobbby bar, sushi bar and dining room as well as outdoor seating under our covered canopy or poolside alfresco.

    Join us for an intimate sake tasting led by our Sake Sommelier. Enjoy a flight of three sakes, each a ~3 oz pour, valued between $14 and $40 per glass. You'll receive a printed placemat with detailed descriptions and enjoy a presentation about each sake. Light snacks and sushi will be served to complement your tasting experience. As a special bonus, attendees who stay for dinner afterward will receive discounts on bottles of the sakes. Reserve your spot for this unique and enlightening evening! This event will be held in the Lobby Lounge. If you would like to have dinner with us after the tasting, please book a separate reservation after 7 PM or let the hostess know when you check in for the tasting.

    Vacationing for a few days and found this restaurant and so happy we decided to go. Food was delicious. Spicy tuna roll was perfection. Brussel sprouts were delicious and perfectly crispy. Edamame steamed to perfection. Service was fantastic. Outdoor seating around the pool with the evening lights was the perfect setting. Would recommend and try again when back in town!

    Fabulous sushi experience! Crispy rice was a favorite. Sushi was fresh and delicious ! Perfect relaxing atmosphere by the pool. Highly recommend! Great service too.

    I wish I could give this place, 50 stars. It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We were seated quickly, and our server Alejandro took us on a culinary journey. He was articulate and knowledgeable, clearly understood the depth and flavor of the dishes he recommended, not simply regurgitating descriptions:information. Highlights for us were the shrimp dumplings and and maguro zuke. Also, I was celebrating an anniversary, and the complimentary champagne was a sweet touch. Ultimately, the value for money is unbeatable, book your reservation now if you haven’t already.

    The quality of the sushi was not up to the level when compare to blue ribbon in other cities like NYC or Boston. Sadly, it is slightly better than sushi at WholeFoods. The restaurant has an easy vibe for being in Miami Beach but it lacks the sophistication to be expected for this brand. Overall disappointing and will not recommend or come back.
