' ..... Welcome to Bluebird, a wood-fired steakhouse featuring the best of Alberta beef including your favorite classic cuts and all-day-roasted Prime rib. Bluebird is where brunch and cocktails collide into fireside lunch which glides into happy hour and then swooshes into dinner where the après begins. With the fire stoked high, we are ready for you to ski through the front door and tell us all about it. It’s always a bluebird day in our mid-century chalet.

Great menu options for brunch with variety of breakfast and lunch options. Service was fantastic warm welcoming and efficient. Cocktails and other beverages were done extremely well.

I was unimpressed with this restaurant. My first issue was the cramped dining, and having the adjoining table, waitress.. take their order with her posterior literally 6 inches from my face. It was uncomfortable. The dining area was loud and the accoustics , required almost shouting. I did have the Tartare…. And the chips over powered the flavour of (Taquies spice chips my kid eats). The steak and veg, had a gas (not charbroiled) flavour. This would all be ok, but charging 5 star pricing for a 3 star meal. The Vintage in YYC is the pricing they are shooting for and deliver Montana’s food. While it was not horrible, the price point was abysmal. Miss the salt Lik in Banff, and a better meal at chain Keg, or Earls.

It took a while to get the food, but it was worth the wait. Souflee pancakes were divine, and they didn't skimp on the salmon or hollandaise sauce for the eggs benny. The only tragedy was a lack of gluten-free hashbrowns. Pan-fry some potatoes for the gluten-free people!

Bluebird was busy but everyone was well-looked after by staff who were friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

The service this morning was amazing! Friendly and attentive, while giving us space to enjoy our meal. We had the prime rib toast and French toast, both were phenomenal! The ambiance is elegant and elevated without feeling too formal! Highly recommend!

The service was incredible. They were very accommodating even on such a busy night (New Year's Eve). The wagyu was really good but most of the rest of the food was pretty disappointing. All of the vegetable sides had an over powering charred flavour, and not like charcoal but more like a fake gas burnt flavour. The risotto was made with barley and had so many odd flavours. One bite was creamy, the next sweet, and the next was like Frank's Redhot. And the cocktails we ordered were called something "colada" but tasted like sour pineapple juice with way too much lime, not blended, not even close to a pina colada. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing meal. The staff were excellent though, and the ambiance was nice.

Best place to eat in Banff is Bluebird, in my opinion. Food is phenomenal and unique. Drinks were good too! Not inexpensive but worth it!
