Bob’s Steak & Chop House – La Costa is a nationally renowned steak house specializing in the finest corn-fed, Midwestern prime beef. We were originally seated in the bar area, our choice. The noise level was incredible. We could not hear each other speak. So we moved into the dining room. Much but still cold. Food and service was great.

We dined there with friends. The drinks were good. The appetizers were good. The filets were good but my husband’s steak was terrible. He got the ribeye. He is not one to send it back… but it was not good… and I’m pretty sure we won’t go back anytime soon. Very disappointing. We were there with great company so we did have a good time!

From the greeting at the door, the evening was memorable. But then again at $100 a head, it is expected to be memorable. The quality of the meats and seafood along with the appetizers may get a go to place for us.
