                                                                                  The drinks and atmosphere were excellent. The food left more to be desired. The steak and broccoli contains almost no steak (too much sauce) and the garlic noodles were bland.

                                                                                  Valentine's Day Early dinner. Greeted Quickly and Happily at door. Seated promptly and wait staff was there in a flash!!! Ample time and consideration given to us to choose drinks, appetizers and entrées. Food brought to table as desires. Wait staff was AWESOME!!! Valentine's Day drink menu was very nice I had the Blush and Bubbles and the Campfire Kiss, while my husband had a Savannah River Belgian beer. We had the calamari and the Szechuan green beans for appetizers. I had the General Bob's Chicken and my husband had the Coconut Curry with Tofu. For dessert we shared a the Yuzu Peach Cobbler!!! An AWESOME Way to Celebrate Love!!!

                                                                                  Food was really good but even though we put our drink orders (old fashioned, apple cider cocktail and a miller lite) in before our appetizer we were completely done with our appetizer and almost done with our entrees by the time we got our drinks even though we asked about them when we were done with the starter and again when we put our dinner order in and again when we received our entrees. We finally went up to the bar and asked and got our drinks about 5 minutes later in time for our dinner dishes to be cleared. It was not busy, plenty of empty tables so I’m not sure what happened but no one apologized nor took any steps to make it right by offering a dessert or the drinks on the house. It was disappointing. It seemed as though our waiter was the only one waiting tables though there seemed to be many people running plates and drinks. It would have been nice for someone to acknowledge the problem. I felt almost foolish for having to repeatedly ask for the drinks that we had ordered 5 minutes after we sat down and have it not be addressed.

                                                                                  Boku is THE spot! Workers show they care and are the sweetest! And does not hurt the wallet!! Things I would recommend: PORK NOODLES: amazing! something new that i’ve never tried but definitely hit all my cravings. GENERAL BOB CHICKEN: this is definitely my favorite thing they serve, the chicken taste so fresh and so real, and a side of fried rice makes it even better. This would be on my death row meal! SPICY NOODLES: so delicious, but definitely do not buy if you can’t handle the heat, my boyfriend was in tears… lol. but i devoured with love! PEACHES AND CREAM YAZU: not sure if that’s the exact name but this dessert will make you feel like grandmas hugging you! i still dream about the next day ill see this dessert! Overall this place is top tier, the atmosphere is beautiful, the food is yummy, and the prices are accurate! They are inclusive and accommodating! I LOVE BOKU!!

                                                                                  The dishes we had high expectations for were a bit lackluster. They had sooooo much sauce. I’ve never had food with sooo much sauce. It’s like drenched in sauce and the actual portion of edible food is scare. We got the steak and broccoli and it was 90% sauce 8% broccoli and 2% steak. The pad Thai was 95% sauce and 5% noodles. It was inedible.
