    Keep giving this place a chance but not anymore - the first visit resulted in an excess charge on my credit card that was remedied after several days/emails, ok, hopefully an honest mistake. Then the last 2 times made a reservation online and both times, despite choosing "standard" and not "outdoor" there was not room indoors to seat us. We sat outdoors the first time and the service was slow and minimal, this time we chose to sit at the bar instead of outside under heaters or waiting 40 min for a table to open up (despite a reservation, again) and the bartender was so overwhelmed with making drinks he seemed annoyed at having to also be our waiter. The food is fine and the atmosphere is nice, but the management and service leave much to be desired. Just beware if you are making reservations that this does not mean you get a table indoors.

    We arrived a bit early for our reservation, but they were able to seat us immediately. Blake, our server, was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was so, so good, Oysters on a half shell, I never had it wirh a ponzu before- all were gone quickly chicken Madeira sauce was flavorful and luscious. The short ribbon dinner was cooked perfectly. Surprise to me, we ordered the pretzel bread pudding with the salted caramel gelato was a lovely finish!

    Only the limited brunch menu is available on weekends. This was not mentioned in the website. Disappointed from the start. Rice was overcooked and inedible in locomoto breakfast. Wings and oysters were just ok. The french toast was too fancy for the kids (no kids menu). Staff was polite and attentive, but mostly hid behind the half wall by the kitchen. When we arrived there was live music, nice touch but too loud for a Sunday lunch to hear table conversations. Didn't vibe well for the time of day.

    We have been eyeing Bird & Bred for quite a while, and finally got the chance to try it out today, for a low-key Christmas Eve lunch. Located in bustling Downtown Chandler, we were shocked how easy it was to find parking. The atmosphere is very modern and spacious. The inside had very loud music so we opted for the patio. Unfortunate, service was subpar. The server was friendly, but hard to find most times. The wait time for the food was also substantial-- the whole meal took almost 2 hours! Our food, when it finally did arrive, was pretty good. We started with Garlic Frites, which had a great crunch and was served with a delicious aioli. For entrees, my Dad loved the Salmon Agrodolce. I thought my Short Rib Sandwich was rather fatty, but I enjoyed the Side Caesar. Would I come back soon? Unlikely. Did I enjoy my lunch? Sure, just wish it wasn't so long.

    The place was really beautiful and we loved the own air feel. Why it's 80 degrees in December is baffling but it made for some great patio weather. Our server (Payton?) was so sweet and took great care of us. We were there for our staff holiday party. The food was very, very good!!

    I had reservations and they sat us in the open garage door opening with a constant cold breeze from an air conditioner. When asked if we could move to one of the open two tables they told us the tables were for a larger party coming. A waiter helped out and got them to move us to a booth in the bar area. This is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars for service. Our waiter was wonderful. The large party never came by the way. The food was good but my pasta was lukewarm.

    We had to wait 10 mins or so just to have someone come to our table but once they did- it was enjoyable. Good food! Would go again.

    Last night was my first time going to Born and Bred. The hostess was great and friendly. She mentioned that Happy Hour was for the whole restaurant, not just the bar. Presley, was our waitress and she knew the menu and the drinks, answering any questions we had. The food was excellent along with the staff. I will definitely go back.

    My girlfriend and I had been to Aftermath in uptown Phoenix a few times already, so we decided to try the Chandler version, Born N Bred, and we were not disappointed. The vibe is similar. Very trendy with a lot of energy. The service is impeccable. Our server Catarina was wonderful. Very personable and knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food was delicious, though the serving sizes were a bit on the smaller side. I had the short ribs and my girlfriend had the halibut. Both were cooked to perfection. We asked for a wine pairing and the recommendation offered was spot on. All in all we had a wonderful experience. And will definitely return.
