We were there on a relatively quiet night. It was very comfortable, service was wonderful. We never felt rushed. This was our first time here. The server was knowledgeable and helped us make our selection . Even allowed for some minor modifications to our entrees. The food itself was very good and was what was described. Did I mention, it was very great. Brought back childhood memories of my grandmother’s cooking. The chef came out and asked how we enjoyed our meal. He was very sincere in his concerns about our enjoyment of our meals. I will definitely return and recommend it to others.

The regular menu was replaced on New Year’s Eve by 3 course fixed price options. We went with appetizers instead. The potato pancakes were crisp and not greasy. The Swedish meatballs were tender with tasty gravy. The star was the smoked salmon platter. Plenty of salmon smoked just right. We had a great waitress.

We ate there for New Year’s Eve. We were seated early, which was nice. The staff were very friendly. Attentive but not pushy. I had duck, which was excellent. My wife has sauerbraten. Hers was a bit dry. This was the last seating of the night, so not unexpected. This was a prix fix menu, so understandable that they needed menu items to accommodate a very heavy crowd. My first two beer choices were out(on tap), the third, Pauliner weiss beer was excellent. The sides and salads were some of the best I have had, very authentic spatzle, potato pancakes, roasted beet salad. Carrot cake and cheesecake mousse were very good as well. The atmosphere was perfect for a New Year’s Eve dinner…a combo of high energy and relaxed. We will definitely eat there again when we can order off the full menu. Looking forward to the Black Forest schnitzel!

The atmosphere is great. It is warm and cozy and lively. The food was excellent! I had the beet salad as an appetizer, and the duck as a main entree - and I would highly recommend them both.

We had a delightful dinner. The holiday decor was magical. The food was amazing as was the staff. Met. Chef/owner Armand. Took home a piece of Black Forest Cake. It was decadent. My husband and I will definitely be going back.

My daughter attends school at Skidmore and we were looking for a celebration spot. Our "go to" place was fully booked. Then I found Brasserie Benelux. What a happy surprise for the three of us! Cozy and inviting. We sat in a booth in the back but had a view of the holiday tree. The service is impeccable! Friendly, helpful, super fast. But let's talk about the food. The food is traditional European fare from all over Europe (not just the Benelux region). Immediately my eye was caught by the "shareables" section of the menu and we feasted on potato pancakes with sides of sour cream and applesauce, pate with pickles, olives, bread, coarse mustard and onions, and the tenderest of swedish meatballs in a plate licking sauce. For main courses, we dined on duck with deliciously crisp skin with lyon potatoes, a pot of the largest, meatiest mussles I've seen in some time with pommes frites, and a German sausage platter (complete with sauerkraut). We threw in a side of dill cucumber salad for some acidic balance. As you can imagine, we had no room for dessert but we will make sure to try that on our next visit. There are lots of great dining choices in Saratoga but Brasserie Benelux is now at the top of the charts!
