The ambiance, competence, food knowledge of the staff, and an excellent menu (both food and wine) always meet high expectations. Recently, I had a simple lunch: a Croque Madame and some pinot noir. The pinot was very good, and the Croque Madame was as good as I have ever had. I also have had many lovely dinners at the Brasserie—a midtown favorite for me, my wife, and numerous friends. Food was awesome. Potato soup, Beef Bourgogne, lamb, risotto. Dessertswere tasteless. Service...scattered. Asked for water when we sat down, delivered to table after meal finished. One dessert delivered 10 minutes before the other two.

Consistent high quality experience. Service is exceptional and food is very good. The staff do a great job for theatre goers. Only negative was that the portion size of the halibut special was very modest.

Food was excellent as usual but service is still REALLY bad. Only 2 waiters for the entire place We waited 1/2 hour just for them to take our order

This has quickly become one of my top favorite restaurants in the area! The ambiance is warm and beautiful. The staff is welcoming and engaging! The food is delicious and their drinks are as well! The price is so good for how absolutely amazing the food is! They had a really festive experience for New Year’s Eve! Can’t wait to go again!

Wonderful New Years Eve dinner. The restaurant was festive and the staff wonderfully attentive. As always the food was outstanding with portions that provided value. I recommend this restaurant for special occasions or pre theatre dining. The free basement parking is a real plus.

The service was excellent, really pleasant wait staff that checked in often without being intrusively so. The food was delicious and perfect proportions for being able to eat an appetizer, main and dessert without being uncomfortable. Nice ambience...not too casual, not too snooty. They had a live duo that was a just-right level of music without interfering with conversation at the table. It was a very pleasant Christmas Eve dinner.

This was our first time dining at Brasserie du Monde and they did not disappoint. We shared a wide array of appetizers and salads as well as some of the specialty drinks. Everything was outstanding including the service. We will definitely make it there again.

Another fabulous experience at Brasserie Du Monde. Food was wonderful. Everyone in our party of seven were very pleased w their entrees. The French onion soup is outstanding as was the Romaine Rouge salad. Put this on your list for 2025.
