   Service was okay, didn’t see our waitress except for when she took our order. Waited a while for the check. The mandatory tip probably didn’t provide any incentive for good service. Food was also okay! 3 stars.

   I had been to the bar many times but not had dinner. I had an absolutely delicious dinner outside. I ordered the fillet and it was excellent. My friend had the cassoulet and it looked quite delicious. The service was well meaning but a little sporadic and needed to be polished up a bit.

   The food and service was excellent and the restaurant has a great ambiance. My only complaint is the shocking 20% service fee that was added to our bill. I don’t have a problem paying it If that’s guaranteed to go to the staff, however the tip line needs to be removed.

   Great food, service and ambiance. Coq a Vin probably the best dish anywhere in the DMV. Exceptional wine list at affordable prices.

   The tables were so close together that the server had a difficult time delivering our drinks to our table.

   I’ve always had great service and the food’s been amazing but this last time had an awful experience. The food came out quickly but my steak was cooked MW/W and i ordered it MR. Our server didn’t come back to the table for quite a while after we received the food so I set the plate on the end of the table to hopefully draw someone’s attention. After 20 minutes I flagged him down and asked him to remake the steak after he tried telling me that’s how I ordered it. We were then out of drinks and wanted to order a bottle of wine but he didn’t come back by for another 10-15 minutes. I tried to order but he said i needed the number of the wine bottle in the wine list so he brought that back and didn’t wait to get the order. He came back about 10 minutes later but at that point we were done eating and didn’t make sense to get it. The check was delivered and we were charged twice for the steak. Once again we had to wait 10+ minutes before i stopped a hostess and asked for her help with the bill. She was very helpful and got it taken care of quickly. We didn’t see the server the rest of the time. I also don’t think it’s appropriate to automatically charge a 20% gratuity if the service is this poor.

   Staff was very accommodating of my friend who had to stop by but leave. Thank you, wait staff was excellent, we never went without water. I got the pasta bolognese, it was alright, didn’t wow me. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals.
