                                      The ambience is stunning and it is very clean. The music of Choi e was a nice touch The food was average for the price. We were. Here’s $2 more per entree for the seafood cakes than is listed in the menu. The seafood stew was supposed to come with bread and we had to request it after the food was brought to the table. Usually not a big deal but service was very slow so it took a minute to get it. Maybe they are understaffed, because our server was not the friendliest either and not willing to do anything outside of taking orders.

                                      We’ve been here many times over the years. This visit was the best ever. The experience was exceptional in every way. The Hungarian mushroom soup alone is worth the visit. Wine list and other libations are exceptional. And the service is pleasant and attentive. This is the best restaurant by far in Astoria.

                                      Plenty of tables, great service, good food, live, mellow guitarist. Food was little pricey and the place is a large dining hall atmosphere. The view would be excellent in the daylight.

                                      The oysters! Really outstanding. The rest of our dinner of Halibut was also terrific. Always a great place to visit when we are in Astoria. See you next time.

                                      Bridgewater Bistro was recommended by the staff at Astoria Riverwalk inn. We liked that the bistro was short walk from the Inn. The bistro is large and open but still had warmth and a beautiful view of the river. Our server was welcoming and friendly. We ordered the bouillabaisse and the short ribs. The food was good and large portions. We listened to a guitar player and relaxed in the environment. Although the bistro was quick busy it was not noisy and was a pleasant experience.
