We were extremely happy with the Bistro 38 experience overall. Lots of choices in the Bryant Park area and this was a last minute reservation. Food was great and the service was must as good. Great Lamb Chops as an Appetizer and the Short Rib and Lamb Shank were all great. Throw in 1/2 price wine (Monday) and it was a home run..!!

We were 6 women, cousins who gather in the city for reunions. Bistro 38 was most welcoming. Our service was beyond excellent. We ordered a variety of drinks, appetizers, and main courses. All excellent. We were given shots of a special lavender and vodka drink which was delicious. We had such personal attention and the hostess introduced herself and invited us back. When in the area we definitely will be back.

What a wonderful evening for a team dinner while we were visiting New York for work. The filet was great, everyone who got fish loved it, and the beverages were delicious, too.

The reviews were great but I always shy away from places with Bistro in the title. However this place did not disappoint. Our food was incredible, the service was excellent and the location is walkable from just about anywhere in midtown. Amazing meal, especially for the price and would highly recommend.
